International. Innovative. Indispensable – RETTmobil 2025 Inspires the Professional World

Fulda – The Heartbeat of Emergency Services: For three days, the 23rd RETTmobil International brought together the global emergency services community – with a clear focus on innovation, exchange, and future resilience. With around 33,000 visitors and 507 exhibiting companies from 27 nations, the leading trade fair once again proved: This is where the industry meets!

International professionals from over 50 countries and five continents flocked to Fulda. Whether from Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, or Australia – RETTmobil is now far more than just a trade fair. It is the heartbeat of the rescue sector and a key meeting point for the blue light community.

Politics, Aid Organizations, Industry – United for the Future
At the official opening on Wednesday (May 14, 2025), trade fair director Manfred Hommel welcomed, among others, Georg Khevenhüller, President of the Malteser Relief Service, who took on the patronage for the second time. In his opening speech, Khevenhüller called for stronger support of civil protection – with clear demands directed at the federal and state governments. Hesse’s Minister of the Interior, Prof. Dr. Roman Poseck, also visited to learn firsthand about innovations in emergency services.

Representatives of all major aid organizations – including ASB, DRK, Johanniter, Malteser, THW, the German Firefighters Association (DFV), the Federal Office of Civil Protection and Disaster Assistance (BBK), and units of the German Armed Forces – gathered for the so-called “Elephant Meeting” to discuss current challenges in disaster management. The “Help for Helpers” Foundation also celebrated its 25th anniversary on the sidelines of RETTmobil.

Technology Meets Practice – Hands-On Innovations
On-site, numerous companies showcased new products and developments: Ambulanz Mobile unveiled the new NOVARIS/HORNIS Twinline patient transport vehicle for the first time in Europe, praised for its sustainability and modular design. System Strobel presented a new KTW model with a medium-high roof and an electrically assisted patient transport chair. WAS exhibited a robust Iveco Daily MTW DEKON V with all-wheel drive – ideal for rough terrain. Ewers impressed with a MAN logistics vehicle designed for operations off paved roads.

A particular highlight was the new Rescube V25 from Binz – a modular interchangeable rescue vehicle unit with an upgraded patient compartment. MiniTec also presented an off-road rolling container for operations in challenging terrain.

Live Demonstrations and Drone Technology Impress
The live demonstrations drew great interest. One standout was the realistic joint exercise by the Malteser and Fulda Fire Department, simulating a technical-medical rescue after a car accident, attracting hundreds of spectators.

Technological innovation was highlighted by the presentation of the drone hangar “RescueBeeHive” by the Björn Steiger Foundation and MINTMASTERS. The system, with stationary drones at strategic locations, allows for faster response times in situations such as missing person searches or water rescues – featuring the AI-powered emergency drone “TrueBuddy.”

Also very popular: the large off-road course, which was highly frequented throughout the fair. Ride-alongs in all-terrain emergency vehicles were a crowd favorite.

Highly Relevant and Practical Professional Program
Once again, one of RETTmobil’s cornerstones was its professional program, which attracted great interest with its practice-oriented workshops, training sessions, and expert talks. All workshops were fully booked in advance – clear proof of the enormous demand for up-to-date, practical training in the emergency services field. Topics ranged from tactical patient care to new technical standards and the use of AI in civil protection.

Numerous expert lectures encouraged dialogue with professionals and were well attended by medical personnel, emergency services leaders, and representatives from research, politics, and industry.

Looking Ahead
The high level of exhibitor satisfaction is reflected in booking numbers. A large number of exhibitors have already committed to RETTmobil 2026.

RETTmobil 2026 – Save the Date:
May 6–8, 2026 in Fulda.

RETTmobil thrives on dedication, innovation, and the shared vision of a resilient emergency and rescue community.

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all exhibitors, partners, and visitors.

23rd RETTmobil Exceeded All Expectations

Pressemitteilung_20250519

Press release

Fulda, 19/05/2025

23rd RETTmobil Exceeded All Expectations

On the third and final day of the 23rd RETTmobil, things really took off – quite literally: not only because thousands of visitors once again flocked to the exhibition grounds, but also because the Björn Steiger Foundation, in collaboration with the company MINTMASTERS, presented the drone hangar system RescueBeeHive.

At midday, in front of numerous onlookers, the pioneering system was introduced with a live demonstration. Experts explained the features and functionality of the Hive hangar, demonstrated the capabilities of the BOS high-performance drone TrueBuddy, and showcased the mission-specific and powerful integration of AI.

“Drones have been used in the BOS (authorities and organizations with security responsibilities) environment for quite some time – for example, for situational awareness during fires or accidents,” explained Joachim von Beesten, Managing Director for Research and Innovation at the Björn Steiger Foundation, which made its first appearance at RETTmobil. “However, our system takes a crucial step further: we position drones in stationary setups at strategically important locations so they can be deployed much more quickly in an emergency.” The Steiger Foundation sees potential use cases for the system in situational reconnaissance, search and rescue operations, water rescue, and crisis deployments.

Professor Dr. Roman Poseck, Hesse’s Minister of the Interior, for Security and Homeland Protection, used RETTmobil as an opportunity to learn about new developments in emergency services on-site. Numerous media representatives from print, radio, and television, both domestic and international, also came to Fulda to report on new trends.

“The international character of the event has increased noticeably,” observed trade fair manager Sandra Hommel-Liebich, referring both to exhibitors and attendees. The tense global security situation and the consequences of climate change are driving greater public awareness of civil protection topics. RETTmobil reflects this development.

The international leading trade fair for rescue and mobility has also established itself in professional circles as an ideal venue for accompanying meetings and conferences. For example, the members of the Stiftung Hilfe für Helfer (Help for Helpers Foundation) have used RETTmobil for years as an opportunity to gather and exchange ideas in Fulda. This time, the 25th anniversary of the initiative was celebrated. The heads of ASB, DRK, Johanniter, Malteser, the German Firefighters Association, and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) also came together during the RETTmobil days to discuss current developments in emergency services and disaster relief.

The preliminary conclusion of the 23rd RETTmobil is overwhelmingly positive. With around 33,000 visitors and 507 exhibiting companies, the event exceeded all expectations. On Thursday, the crowds were so large that organizers considered temporarily closing the entrances. A long queue formed, particularly at the off-road course, which this time offered even more opportunities for on-site ride-alongs.

Exhibitors frequently reported very good discussions with key decision-makers in the industry, so that by the final day of the trade fair, more than half had already firmly booked their spot for next year. The professional program was also extremely well received overall. The practical workshops, for instance, were fully booked.

The 24th RETTmobil will take place from May 6–8, 2026, traditionally in Fulda.

RETTmobil 2025: Experience Innovations – Secure Your Tickets for the Specialist Program Now!

Fulda, 19/02/2025

RETTmobil 2025: Experience Innovations – Secure Your Tickets for the Specialist Program Now!

When RETTmobil International opens its doors on May 14, 2025, the annual top event for the rescue industry will begin. More than 480 exhibitors from 26 nations will showcase innovations, cutting-edge technologies, and the latest developments in emergency response. Additionally, a comprehensive specialist program awaits professionals, featuring interactive workshops, exciting lectures, and hands-on training. Tickets are now available online.

The demand is high, as workshops, training sessions, and hands-on courses of the LUKAS RESCUE LEAGUE in collaboration with the Fulda Fire Department are off to a great start. “Anyone who wants to secure a spot shouldn’t wait too long,” advises trade fair manager Sandra Hommel-Liebich.

The hands-on workshop takes place three times a day in the outdoor area, offering fire department and emergency service teams realistic training scenarios, including rescue operations involving electric vehicles and managing complex traffic accidents under time pressure.

Specialist Program: Diverse, Intensive, and Forward-Thinking
The specialist program impresses with its thematic diversity and practical relevance. Medical emergency service training is divided into seven key focus areas, covering topics such as resuscitation, major events, specific hazard situations, and neonatal care – including interactive model-based exercises. Also on the agenda are evaluation in training and continuing education, challenges in traffic accident response, and interdisciplinary collaboration with other specialized services.

The “Meet the Experts” format will focus on two highly relevant topics: “Rescue Service Reform” and “New Challenges, New Solutions – Acute Medicine in Emergency Services.” Experts from administration, hospitals, and field practice will explore these issues from different perspectives and engage in discussions with attendees.

Hands-On: Workshops for True Professionals
A key highlight of RETTmobil is the hands-on workshops, where participants work in small groups under the guidance of selected experts. This year’s program includes emergency ultrasound, CPR feedback, advanced airway management, bleeding control, and neonatal care – with interactive exercises using models.

Practical Exercise: Rescue After a Severe Accident
Another highlight is the hands-on exercise on medical-technical rescue after a traffic accident involving a car and an agricultural vehicle, with multiple trapped casualties. Following last year’s successful exercise with the Johanniter Air Rescue, this year, the Malteser Emergency Services from Hesse and the Fulda Fire Department will conduct a highly realistic simulation.

Pure Action: Experience the Off-Road Course Up Close
A long-time visitor favorite: the off-road course, where attendees can ride in high-performance rescue vehicles. Participants include Daimler Truck AG with a Unimog U5023, the German Red Cross headquarters with a Unimog ambulance and a Scania 6×6 truck, EDAG Engineering GmbH with their Ford Defender, THT Polička with a Tatra fire truck, and QUAD am Ring, navigating the course with a Ranger XP 1000.

Meeting Point for the Rescue Industry
Both the trade fair and the specialist program at RETTmobil uniquely reflect the complexity of the emergency services industry. Professionals, users, and procurement specialists from aid organizations, fire departments, private emergency services, military medical services, government agencies, and hospitals gather here. Many attendees are actively involved – either professionally or as volunteers – not only in emergency rescue or patient transport but also in air, mountain, water, and high-altitude rescue, fire departments, search and rescue operations with dogs, or psychosocial emergency support.

“Professionals and decision-makers in emergency services love coming to RETTmobil International. This leading trade fair is a meeting place for the entire emergency response community, a platform for exchanging knowledge and technology – and this time, also a forum to discuss the impact of recent changes on the rescue industry and civil protection,” says Georg Khevenhüller, President of the Malteser Emergency Service and patron of RETTmobil International 2025.

Event Dates and Tickets
RETTmobil will take place from May 14–16, 2025, daily from 9 AM to 5 PM at Messe Galerie in Fulda. Visitors benefit from free parking directly at the venue and a complimentary shuttle service between the Fulda ICE train station and the trade fair. Tickets for both the exhibition and the specialist program are available online at www.rettmobil-international.com.

First decisions for RETTmobil 2025

Pressemitteilung_20240604

Press release

Fulda, 04/06/2024

First decisions for RETTmobil 2025

After the exhibition is before the exhibition: As soon as the last exhibitors have left Fulda, planning for RETTmobil 2025 is already beginning behind the scenes. The first decisions have already been made.

The patron of the 23rd RETTmobil next year will be Georg Khevenhüller, President of the Malteser Hilfsdienst e. V. “We are very pleased to have Mr. Khevenhüller as the patron of our event again after 2019, and we are convinced that with him and in cooperation with the Maltesers, we will once again set the right accents for emergency services and disaster relief next year”, says exhibition director Manfred Hommel. “The Malteser Hilfsdienst is one of the largest aid organizations in the German rescue sector and has been a regular, loyal exhibitor at RETTmobil for many years.”

Even before the last RETTmobil ended, it was clear that there would be a large-scale exercise next year as well. The rescue exercise in cooperation with the Johanniter Air Rescue attracted a lot of interest this year. Hundreds of visitors attended the live demonstration, including winch maneuvers. In 2025, an exercise focused on rescue from heavy agricultural machinery is planned. Several specialist services, including the fire department and emergency services, will be seen in action live before the audience.

Those who want to be there still have time. Tickets for RETTmobil 2025 are expected to be available online from around February next year. However, those who want to participate as exhibitors with their own stand in Fulda should hurry. “So far, 90 percent of this year’s exhibitors from the rescue industry have booked for the 2025 exhibition”, announces exhibition manager Sandra Hommel-Liebich. As a reminder: The next RETTmobil will take place from May 14 to 16, 2025 – as usual in Fulda.

End of the exhibition sparks excitement for next year

Pressemitteilung_20240521

Press release

Fulda, 21/05/2024

End of the exhibition sparks excitement for next year

Summary: A total of 30,308 trade visitors from 50 countries attended the international leading exhibition for rescue and mobility in Fulda. Over three days, RETTmobil captivated the professional audience with its 483 exhibitors.

The international leading exhibition is renowned for presenting the latest innovations and technologies in the industry, and 2024 was no exception. The exhibition showcased state-of-the-art equipment, innovative vehicles, and advanced rescue techniques, offering a glimpse into the future of rescue services.

Beyond showcasing the newest products and technologies, RETTmobil also focused on the exchange among professionals. The exhibition is the ideal platform for networking and establishing new contacts. Rescue workers from various countries and organizations could share their experiences and learn from each other.

The feedback from numerous exhibitors was similar. Many reported in-depth discussions with experienced users and promising negotiations with decision-makers. Some substantial deals were made, as some manufacturers revealed confidentially. RETTmobil has become a fixture in the calendar of many international rescue industry firms. Companies from Eastern Europe meet delegations from Central Asia in Fulda to do business together. “Examples like these prove that RETTmobil has truly established itself as the international leading exhibition for rescue and mobility”, says Exhibition Director Manfred Hommel with pride.

The event’s high standing is evident from its repeated use as a platform for public events. This year, for example, the vehicle handover of an INEOS Grenadier from System Strobel GmbH & Co. KG to the Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe took place on the fairgrounds. The company Volkland presented its “Mobile Doctor’s Office” in the presence of many media representatives. The HSD Hochschule Döpfer also chose RETTmobil as the stage to publicly announce its cooperation with the Hire a Doctor Group and ceremoniously hand over the partnership certificate.

Almost all the events in the professional program were fully booked. Tickets for the thematic and practical workshops were no longer available well before the start of the exhibition. Last-minute participants could only hope for a few remaining tickets for the medical-rescue training sessions. “With the events surrounding the aspect of ‘Ultrasound in Rescue Services’, we apparently struck a chord”, says Exhibition Manager Sandra Hommel-Liebich. It was also noticeable that various exhibitors recognized prehospital emergency sonography as a promising topic and included suitable products or training in their programs.

Looking ahead to RETTmobil next year already brings excitement. The spectacular winch exercise with the Johanniter Air Rescue, for instance, is not expected to be a one-off event. The organizers are considering which scenarios and specialist services could be showcased at the next RETTmobil. There is no shortage of ideas. And the majority of exhibitors have already committed to returning in 2025.

“Of course, we are pleased with the great response, and the numerous feedback shows that we are on the right track”, summarizes Exhibition Director Manfred Hommel. “RETTmobil is and remains the exhibition for the entire rescue sector, with an interface to the fire department. Just as the rescue service operates outside the exhibition gates. That’s our trademark, and we will stick to it”, promises Hommel.

With a spectacular parade, the so-called “Abhupen”, the blue light family says goodbye to the fairgrounds in Fulda. But only for a while: planning for RETTmobil 2025 is already underway. The 23rd edition of the leading exhibition will take place from May 14 to 16, 2025 (Wednesday to Friday) in Fulda.

RETTmobil – Where the professionals meet up!

Pressemitteilung_20240216_1

Press release

Fulda, 16/02/2024

RETTmobil – Where the professionals meet up!

The 22d RETTmobil will take place this year. Once again, this will be in Fulda – the traditional international meeting place for workers in rescue medicine. The organisers expect more than 450 exhibitors and thousands of professional visitors. They can all look forward to attractive highlights and really up-to-date lectures. The conditions for networking will be ideal.

Volker Bescht is the President of Johanniter and the patron of this year’s RETTmobil. He will present an absolute highlight; Johanniter Air Rescue will be represented at RETTmobil for the first time and will demonstrate a winching manoeuvre with one of their rescue helicopters. The international experts in the public will of course be able to witness a live exercise on the grounds of the trade fair.

The open country parkour will be just as spectacular. The firms EDAG Engineering GmbH, Krämer Special Vehicles GmbH, Daimler Truck AG, as well as the General Secretariat of the German Red Cross, will exhibit their open country vehicles.  For example, the German Red Cross will use their Unimog U 4023 to show how they can perform difficult tricks and dodgy water crossings. If you want to be right in the front line, you can be a passenger in a Scania lorry 6×6 in the open country parkour.

Last year we decided to increase the size of the trade fair by about 4,000 sq. m. This decision was justified, as it has also allowed us to make room for the practical workshops, which will be held this year too. In collaboration with Fulda Fire Brigade, the firm LUKAS RESCUE LEAGUE will present “Technical Aid for Fire Brigades and Rescue Services”. If you want to face this challenge – and bring your personal safety gear to RETTmobil –, you are invited to show your skills on site.

RETTmobil addresses both purchasers and professional and voluntary users in all areas of rescue work, ambulances and disaster response. The expert exhibition includes the most recent advances in ambulance vehicles and vehicle technology, the technology of emergency medicine, protective ambulance clothing, hygiene and disinfection, radio and signal technology, mobile devices and software solutions.

Unlike all other special trade fairs, RETTmobil works under the motto of “Experiencing Rescue Work”. In other words, all users are expressly encouraged not only to look at the exhibited products, but also to handle them and examine them – so that they get an authentic impression. According to the Director of the Trade Fair, Manfred Hommel: “Rescue services don’t only work in a warm living room, but much of the time under unpleasant conditions”. RETTmobil wishes to portray this with their concept and this is really what distinguishes this trade fair, so that it is truly unique in the world.

RETTmobil is the largest professional meeting and offers visitors the chance to bring their professional knowledge absolutely up-to-date and to come into contact with top professional lecturers. There are numerous opportunities each day to receive advanced training on medical work in the rescue services, as well as workshops and meetings with experts (“Meet the Experts”).

The advanced training functions this year focus on lectures on the following themes: “Reanimation in Special Emergencies”, “Riots, Mobs and Insurgencies”, “Winning Hearts and Minds with Modern Management”, “Emergency Medicine in Dangerous Situations”, “Rescue Services in Germany. Something New Every Day?!” and “Paediatric Emergencies”. The two sessions of “Meet the Experts” will deal with “Sonography in Rescue Services” and “Crisis Intervention with Handicapped Patients”. The workshops will cover intensive practical work on aspects such as ultrasound diagnostics in preclinical work, management and communication and airway management.

All these functions, particularly the extensive commercial exhibitions, provide excellent possibilities, for networking and for swapping experiences. There will be more than 450 exhibitors from more than 20 countries. Where else do you have the opportunity to talk with product developers, not only from Germany, but also from the USA, Asia, the Emirates, Scandinavia, the Benelux countries, or Southern Europe – to ask them questions and to report on their daily use? According to Manfred Hommel, the Director of the trade fair: “These are very valuable experiences for both sides”.

Hommel comments: “We will do our level best to ensure that RETTmobil will once again be an extraordinary experience for all professionals. The expert public can look forward to a fascinating occasion, covering an extensive area, with sections for presentations and activities. Exhibitors can look forward to 3 days of concentrated expertise from experienced users.

The 22d RETTmobil will be open from 09:00 am to 05:00 pm from 15 to 17 May 2024. Entry tickets and tickets for special functions are available under https://www.rettmobil-international.com/.

There will be a free bus shuttle between Fulda ICE station and the grounds of the trade fair (Messe Galerie Fulda). The busses will run every 15 minutes between 08:30 am and 10:00 am and then every 30 minutes. Visitors who come by car can park as usual free of charge in the grounds of the trade fair.

Fulda, 16/01/2024

Johanniter Air Rescue is coming to RETTmobil

In about four months, this year’s RETTmobil will be opening its gates (15 – 17 May 2024). We are busy with the preparations and the first points in the programme have been fixed. Johanniter Air Rescue will be coming for the first time and will present one of their rescue helicopters on site.

According to Manfred Hommel – the Director of the trade fair -: “Air rescue is becoming increasingly important.  There have been changes in the distribution of hospitals within Germany, so that patients must often be transferred over long distances. This is why we are delighted that Johanniter Air Rescue are coming to Fulda for this year’s RETTmobil to present their work.”

The contribution by Johanniter Air Rescue is associated with the patronage of Volker Bescht, President of the Johanniter Society for Accident Relief and retired Brigade General. He has pledged to accept this assignment for the 22d RETTmobil. The presentation of air rescue will include a demonstration of a winching manoeuvre after a fictional accident. The specialist audience will have the chance to witness the action live.

Once again, visitors will be able to witness spectacular open country runs on the traditional offroad parkour. This year we also plan to include presentations from the companies EDAG Engineering Ltd, Krämer Special Vehicles Ltd, Daimler Truck AG and the General Secretariat of the German Red Cross (DRK). If you want action yourself, the two-hour practical workshop is exactly what you have been seeking. In collaboration with the Fulda Fire Brigade, the firm LUKAS RESCUE LEAGUE will show you an extremely realistic on “Technical Aid for Fire Fighters and the Rescue Services”. Participants will be asked to deal with a complex car accident under pressure of time, So don’t forget to bring your personal protective gear to RETTmobil!

The advanced training for medical emergencies covers problems such as “Riots, Mobs and Insurgencies”, “Reanimation in Specific Emergencies”, “Emergency Medicine in Dangerous Situations” and “Paediatric Emergencies”.

The workshops this year will include themes such as “Communication”, “Management and Generation Z”, and “Mass Casualty Incidents”. “Meet the Experts” will cover such aspects as “Crisis Intervention for the Handicapped”.

Manfred Hommel promises that RETTmobil 2024 will once again be an interesting, diverse and up-to-date meeting point for all those who deal with the emergency services or fire brigade – either professionally or in an honorary capacity. Visits will be able to glean information, exchange views or receive advanced training. The special exhibition has been booked up, with exhibitors from more than 450 companies and more than 20 countries. We could fully expect that RETTmobil will be a total success for everyone – this year too.

We have exceeded our own expectations

Pressemitteilung_20230512

Press release

Fulda, 12/05/2023

We have exceeded our own expectations

There were more than 27,000 visitors to RETTmobil this year – more than our most optimistic expectations! Experts from many parts of Germany and from 50 other countries made their way to Germany, to spend three days hearing about the most recent developments in emergency services and disaster management.

Manfred Hommel was the manager of the trade fair. He commented that he had optimistically expected 26,000 visitors, 4,000 more than in the previous year. In the course of the afternoon of the third and last day, it became clear that RETTmobil would beat even this value.  There were about 8,500 visitors to the exhibition site on both the opening day (Wednesday) and Friday. However, on Thursday, they had 11,000 visitors to RETTmobil – in spite of a downpour. Hommel commented that this was a very accurate estimate and was based on the ticket system and drone images. He was delighted by the lively interest.

RETTmobil has made a name for itself. Everyone can see what we stand for – emergency services under realistic conditions. This applies even when the weather is poor and the off-road path is muddy.

Because of the enormous demand, we had decided to expand the exhibition site by 4,000 m² – including 1,000 m² in the halls – and it soon became clear that this had been exactly the right decision. Many visitors who were emergency services at home came to the spectacular displays presented by the fire brigades in Hall L. Shortly before the end of the trade fair, Hommel made it clear that the extension would not be a once-off. RETTmobil planned to use the same area in the coming year, as otherwise there would not be enough room.

It was clear that many visitors were from abroad, and this was striking if you listened to them talking in the hall. Apart from English as an international second language, you could detect visitors from Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Eastern and Southern Europe and Asia. Just a glance in the list of exhibitors confirmed the impression that RETTmobil has become a leading international trade fair. 470 firms from 20 countries – including newcomers with impressively large stands, such as Rodriguez Lopez from Spain, who specialises in refitting and upgrading.

Manfred Hommel was delighted that there had been so many visitors from abroad. The exhibitors were glad to make and develop many international contacts during the trade fair. They had had useful discussions and were more than satisfied. This favourable balance was also reflected in the fact that, on Friday evening, 60% of the exhibitors had already booked for the coming year. The 22d RETTmobil will then take place from 15 to 17 May 2024 – as always in the trade fair site in Fulda.

Fulda, 31/03/2023

In six weeks, the RETT trade fair will be opening in Fulda!

The RETTmobil (10 – 12 May) will then open for another three days – as the focus for rescue services in Germany and beyond. The organisers expect more than 450 exhibitors and thousands of visitors.

Manfred Hommel, the Managing Director of Messe RETTmobil International GmbH, reports: “The excitement is slowly increasing. We are keeping precisely to our timetable for the preparations. Once again, the community of experts can look forward to many highlights.” According to Hommel, the exhibitors will include companies from more than 20 countries, including new companies from Spain and Great Britain that sell vehicles for emergency services. The patron this year will be Boris Rhein, Prime Minister of the Federal State of Hesse.

The special exhibition will deal with a wide variety of themes and we expect that there will be a great deal of interest in new trends, such as digitalisation and remotely operated systems. These will include operating robots and drones – both in detail at various stands and live demonstrations in authentic situations.

“Action” will be provided by the traditional off-road parcours. The entry from the German Red Cross this year will be an all-wheel patient transport system on a Unimog chassis and we will see what it is capable of on this demanding terrain. It will also be demonstrated how a forest caterpillar can be used for forest fires and how an INEOS Grenadier 4 x 4 can be used as command and control vehicle in open country. Visitors will also be able to ride through the off-road parcours on a Landrover Defender.

RETTmobil will not neglect training. The supporting specialist program will include advanced training in medical ambulance work, workshops and discussions with experts (“Meet the Experts“). The themes will include management and communication during active service, digital solutions for a variety of problems, psychosocial emergency prevention and preclinical ultrasound. Our organisation manager Sandra Hommel-Liebich recommends that those wishing to take part should register on our website as rapidly as possible (https://www.rettmobil-international.com/besucher/tickets/). Demand is high.

LUKAS RESCUE LEAGUE and SAFETY-TOUR have announced special practical workshops for members of fire brigades and ambulance services. These will take place on a special area of 4,000 m2 and will concentrate on fire prevention and technical aids. For example, these will deal with the special risks of E-mobility. These workshops will be held on a special presentation and practical area by hall L.
